Welcome to The Westmount Academy
– Your High School At Home!

Admission

High school is the best time of our lives. During our transition from kids to adults, a high school prepares us to take tough challenges head on. As much as it is fun, it is an extremely important phase in every kid’s life that has to be dealt with responsibility and care. High school provides us with immense opportunities to learn, from academics to student clubs and extracurricular, helping us transition away from childhood and prepare for the world.

The Westmount Academy is an online high school that enjoys a competitive edge over traditional schooling. It brings together high school students from the United States and all over the world on a virtual platform where they interact and develop global networking. At the Westmount Academy, we offer a tailored, personalized learning experience that’s customized according to the pace of the student while keenly monitored step by step to ensure successful progress.

Established between the modern lines, it ensures that while incorporating online education as the key element, students get to enjoy on – ground amenities and a traditional schooling environment that they are accustomed to for years. Here’s how we do it.

Competitive
curriculum

The Westmount Academy offers high quality, challenging curriculum and coursework that prepares students for a life awaiting them after high school. Alongside accreditation of the curriculum, it ensures the courses are kept up-to-date, improved, and improvised accordingly as per the need of the subjects and the students.

Advanced model of
learning

We provide pre-recorded online lessons alongside participation exercises to ensure our students receive premium online education in a multi-modal learning system for subject-wise mastery. Moreover, our outstanding faculty hosts live video calls every week, or whenever needed by the class, to conduct an in-depth, detailed interactive session. Teachers have to ensure that the students properly understand the concept, solve any queries that they might have, and assess the level of their mastery for each concept. Students may also email the teacher to get a one-on-one session with the teacher to gain insight or solutions to their academic challenges.

Flexible course
pacing

At the Westmount Academy, students are given the flexibility with course selection and course pacing. If any student struggles with a particular subject, he/she can spend more time on those lessons than they would be allowed in traditional schooling. By investing more in certain video lectures to master a unit or understand a concept, the student can ensure proper command of the subject. Simultaneously, our contemporary program detects this investment to help us keep the progress of every individual student.

This allows us to create a personalized learning experience for students and parents. By enabling students to build their academics around their lives, the Westmount Academy seeks to empower the young generation with the liberty to study at their ease and their choice.

In-person student
activities

We realize the importance of in person student activities for high school students, including, but not limited to, student clubs, meet-ups, registration fairs, graduation ceremonies, and even gym access. As a complete online education system built to foster a healthy environment without compromising on any aspect of personal or professional development, we strive to provide students with all essential facilities. Our students do not only interact virtually but are given plenty of opportunities to meet each other and make long-lasting friendships with people all over the world.

We take pride in unmatched accessibility to
high-quality education for everyone

The Westmount Academy is open for students worldwide if they are eligible to be admitted based on their competence, or in other cases, credits earned from the previous school. Any student willing to transfer credits from another high school to be enrolled in the Westmount Academy needs to present his/her transcript so that we can adjust the credits accordingly.

Parents are provided with access to view grades, day-to-day performances, scores in assignments, quizzes, mid-terms, and other class exercises. We have a dedicated Course Completed section designed to represent the performance of the student using key colors.

If you’re looking to complete your high school at an institute that has everything going for it, from competitive online learning that’s unlike anywhere else to individualized learning and an accredited curriculum with an array of electives, the Westmount Academy is the school for you.
